Mettamorphs
This page exhibits some of my animated artworks which I call Mettamorphs. They all come from still images, brought to life through this technique. I have a growing series with now over 40 artworks and variations that I use to remix with audio-reactive effects at live music events as a VJ. I perform with various music artists, and sometimes at my own solo events, which I call Metta Grove, featuring my own music.

This style of morphing 2D images was originally popularized by the prolific George Redhawk, who coined the terms 'RedHawk Effect' and 'Mettamorphs'. I've adapted the latter. I learned from George personally in 2016 when this was a new phenomenon. Now various new software has been developed based on this technique and it's become more ubiquitous on the internet. I've also since collaborated with David Letelier on some of these images.
