The Ouroboros and Lotus have been used in many cultures and contexts with multiple yet similar meanings.
.
The Ouroboros, a serpent eating its tail, represents the cyclical nature of time, where time flows back into itself. It can represent the unity of all things, both material and spiritual, in a constant cycle of creation and destruction.
.
The Lotus flower symbolizes rebirth, reincarnation, spiritual rebirth and awakening to enlightenment. It represents purity, tranquillity, and the ability to overcome challenges. It can symbolize a connection between the universe's soul and one's own.
.
Soon it will be the Year of the Snake in the Chinese calendar, which also carries similar inspiration. The snake can be a symbol of
wisdom, transformation, good fortune,  intelligence, intuition, and creativity. The snake's ability to shed its skin represents letting go of the past and embracing the new.
